Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The core mission of the Design & Marketing Specialist is to create the design for product campaigns from start to finish, as well as help write marketing copy and execute marketing such as emails, social media, and more as needed. Responsible for conceptualizing and implementing design solutions that meet marketing strategies of digital and print campaigns, website design, email design, social media graphics, and other digital and print advertising. Collaborate with other marketing team members, creative services, project managers, and stakeholders on each project, presenting original design and marketing solutions that best tell the story of a campaign or product line in the marketplace.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide excellent graphic design as requested by internal stakeholders for email, social media, website, and various print collateral
  • Create social media posts for Outreach, Inc. marketing and as for-sale products
  • Create and produce videos for use as instructional aids to customers, for marketing campaigns and product introductions, and other uses as needed
  • Write marketing headlines and copy for design, emails, website, and other marketing assets as needed
  • Help assist team in creating and executing emails, social media ads, and other marketing levers as needed to help drive revenue
  • Manage the design process, coordinate resources, and track progress throughout the design cycle
  • Responsible for cost and time control/accountability
  • Prepare, name, and store all files according to correct technical specifications and departmental procedures

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education:

  • Degree in Graphic Design or related field.

Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in graphic design in a marketing department
  • Extensive knowledge of graphic design, digital marketing, and file management
  • Knowledge in all standard design systems, photography, typography, video, web and email design 
  • Full understanding of all standard pre-press production needs for digital, video, and print collateral
  • Knowledge of the Christian Church is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel may be required 1-2 times yearly for professional development and event support

Salary Description
$50,000 - $65,000 DOE
