Description
Accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for bank customers as well as promote and advise on the bank’s products and services.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promotes and maintains good public relations with customers.
- Oversee that each Teller has the correct currency for operation.
- Accepts and processes deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and cashes checks.
- Orders and sells official checks.
- Directs customers to customer service if unable to answer customer’s questions.
- Balance totals and correct cash drawer daily to assist Tellers in finding discrepancies when out of balance condition occurs.
- Maintains vault cash and places currency orders.
- Supervises Teller operations
- Assists in answering phones when necessary.
- Audits Teller drawers and vault on a random basis (at least quarterly).
- Spot checks daily work on a regular basis.
- Responsible for complying with BSA policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Job Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) or more years Teller experience
- Relevant computer skills
