Anova Healthcare Services, Inc. is the "non-medical" division of Anova Health Care System, offering Caregivers in our clients' homes to assist them with their daily needs. Anova Health Care System offers full continuity of care with Home Health care, Hospice & Palliative care, and Home Care services. Our Home Care office, in Carnegie, is looking for a FULL-TIME, Staff Coordinator.
Position Description:
The Staff Coordinator is responsible for maintaining compliance, daily operations, and achieving goals set forth by the home care agency. Duties: Please note that the duties listed below is an outline of responsibilities and not a comprehensive list.
- Receive referrals and inquiries.
- Identify needs of consumer and schedules appropriate personnel.
- Schedules and coordinates day-to-day activities of private duty field staff.
- Recruits, interviews, screens, and tests all applicants; makes initial hiring decision.
- Provides orientation of paraprofessional employees.
- Manages, distributes and maintains documentation in employee and client files for compliance.
- Compile and present information in weekly staff meeting.
- Responds promptly and courteously to all clients’ and employees’ calls.
- Communicates continually with employees, service coordinators, governing bodies and consumers to evaluate service, including required reporting.
- Works “on-call” on an as-needed basis for scheduling substitutions and new cases during the hours the office is closed. *Note "on-call" is via phone only.
- Approves time slips to coordinate with digital check ins and check outs, compiles and processes for payroll.
- Records missed shifts, as required.
- Notifies Field Supervisor of new open assessments or performs open assessments, as needed.
- Creates and maintains client files for compliance.
- Communicate with the billing and authorization team to ensure clients' services are authorized and the clients are eligible for service.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be a high school graduate and at least 20 years old.
- Must possess effective communications skills.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as part of the team.
- Must be flexible and have the ability to guide others.
- Must have computer experience.
- Previous office or clerical experience required. Previous experience in Home Care or health care setting is preferred.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
