Civil / Environmental Project Engineer

Description

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm of professional engineers, architects, environmental scientists, planners, and landscape architects, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Civil or Environmental Engineer for a full-time position in Camp Hill, State College or Williamsport, PA.


Duties primarily include engineering related to general civil and environmental engineering, as well as solid waste management facilities and systems.


Technical duties include:

  • Data collection & analysis, design calculations, estimates, production of specifications and design drawings, and onsite verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications. 
  • Preparation of engineering design reports, feasibility studies, environmental studies and solid waste management plans.
  • Specific assignments may include developing site layout and grading plans, stormwater conveyance and storage facilities, erosion control design, site utility design, on-site roadways, and ancillary buildings and structures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in the consulting industry a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in PA or the ability to obtain reciprocity is desired.
  • Experience with the design and layout of site plans, grading plans, pipelines, storm water systems and other related civil/site work is a plus.
  • Construction observation and contract administration experience and a willingness to work on seasonal field assignments is a plus.
