Location: Sodus, New York  Disclaimer: Reliant headquarters are located at 10 Benton Place, Sodus, New York. The position will allow for some remote work flexibility; however, an in-person presence at our headquarters is expected. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.

General Summary:

Reliant Credit union, ranked one of Rochester's top mid-sized workplaces six years in a row, seeks a Finance and Analytics Manager to join our team.

The Finance & Analytics Manager is responsible for all areas relating to Reliant’s financial reporting and organizational analytics, developing strategies to effectively analyze data to drive business decisions and organizational operations.

As a Finance and Analytics Manager at Reliant, you will:

  • Develops standardized reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insights. Constructs data sets to analyze, inform, identify trends, and aid business decision-making. 
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to better understand valuable objectives to design relevant reports and dashboards. 
  • Translate complex data reporting into clear, actionable considerations.
  • Support projects using statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis. 
  • Prepares insight-seeking analyses on behalf of business unit managers to potentially enhance business, mitigate risk, and/or help increase credit union safety and soundness.
  • Manages, plans and directs the development and the implementation of the ALM and database reporting systems to create efficiencies.

  • Master’s degree in finance, data analytics or related field preferred. Equivalence of education and experience will be considered in lieu of education. 
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience required.


  • Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; credit union/ banking industry experience is a plus. 
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel, and database management (familiarity with Microsoft Office suite preferred).
  • Knowledge of R and SQL and familiarity with business intelligence tools, such as Tableau.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with ability to present information to groups of various size.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and compliance. 
  • Possesses strong analytical ability to interpret/research/explore/problem-solve/recognize data trends


  • Use of keyboard, monitor, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
  • Communicate effectively in person and via telephone, video conferencing, email, and written documents.
  • Access document equipment and files above and below waist levels.
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
