Brief description of day to day responsibilities: The Business Continuity Program Manager will lead the planning, maintenance, management, and evolution of the Firm’s Enterprise Business Continuity Program, including emergency response, crisis management, and corresponding Business Continuity plans.

Scope

  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of the Enterprise Business Continuity program, including development, implementation, testing, and on-going maintenance and evolution. 
  • Strategically plan and manage the Firm’s Business Continuity Program, in line with the Firm’s overarching business strategy, industry best practices, and relevant regulations
  • Perform Business Continuity Program tasks, governance, and oversight, including facilitating business impact analyses, conducting risk assessments, enacting remediation plans, developing and implementing organization-wide business continuity training, and coordinating the annual update and review of business continuity plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Work with internal business units to understand their specific business continuity and contingency needs, and ensure they have adequate and successfully tested plans in place to meet those needs
  • Collaborate closely with Technology and Information Security Leads to ensure the IT Disaster Recovery (DR) and Cybersecurity Plans are integrated in the overall Business Continuity Program. 
  • Identify deficiencies in the Business Continuity Program, and coordinate remediation action plans as needed.
  • Develop and execute regular business continuity training, exercises, and testing. Update all plans regularly based on lessons learned. 
  • Foster an environment among management and staff of business preparedness and resiliency.

Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in a business continuity, operational resiliency, or crisis management role in a regulated industry (financial services industry preferred)
  • Proven track record implementing at least one large-scale, end-to-end business continuity or business resiliency initiative
  • CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), CFCP (Certified Functional Continuity Professional) preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of and ability to articulate business continuity principles, best practices and methodologies
  • At least 10 years work experience, preferably in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Office 365 suite 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or Microsoft BI) preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary Description
$150,000 - $190,000
