Position Overview: As a Market President at New Horizon Bank, you will play a key role in fostering and expanding relationships with business clients. You will be responsible for understanding their financial needs, offering appropriate banking products and services, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Additionally, the Market President will oversee a team of Business Bankers and manage the overall pipeline of loans for the Bank. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, relationship management, leadership, coaching, and a deep understanding of business banking products.

Here’s what you’ll spend your time doing: 


Human Capital Management:

  • Leading a team of Business Bankers to meet production goals by offering guidance on product pricing and structuring. 
  • Working with Senior Management to identify market opportunities and develop appropriate products and services in alignment with industry trends and regulations. 

Business Development:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned market or territory.
  • Collaborating with the business development team to expand the bank's client base.
  • Becoming established as an active presence in the community, expanding business network, prospecting and building a pipeline of new clients. 

Client Relationship Management:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business clients through regular communication and engagement.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their financial needs and providing exceptional, white glove service.

Financial Consultation:

  • Conducting thorough financial assessments for business clients to understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Providing strategic financial advice and recommending appropriate banking solutions.

Credit Analysis and Risk Management:

  • Evaluating the creditworthiness of business clients and preparing credit proposals.
  • Monitoring and managing credit risk through ongoing analysis and proactive measures.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Seven to ten years’ experience in business banking or a related financial role.
  • Three to five years' management experience. 
  • Familiarity with business banking software and technology.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, credit analysis, and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional, Commercial Lending Certificate).

Salary Description
$150,000 to $175,000 annually
