Position Overview:

The Social Media Lead is a strategic leader in the Client Services team, ensuring that custom strategies are developed to meet clients' social goals. This role involves overseeing client projects, leading social strategy development, participating in campaign ideation, and more

Job Type: Full-Time (Remote)

  • Employee works 40 productive hours/week
  • Due to the nature of Sports & Entertainment, the required hours may be subject to change by the employer

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $110,000/year

  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,000/year in our lowest geographic market and up to $110,000/year in our highest geographic market. 
  • The actual compensation offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and location.

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Social Media Director to deliver innovative social media strategies.
  • Develop content strategies that align with clients' social and partnership goals.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to a dedicated social media team, ensuring consistency and quality in all client projects.
  • Work with strategy and creative teams to pitch innovative solutions.
  • Stay updated on social media platforms, features, and trends.
  • Continuously improve client strategy and content plans based on performance metrics.
  • Support the pitch process by developing social campaign ideas, writing copy, and establishing social platform strategies.
  • Ensure content is customized for different social platforms and adheres to brand guidelines.


  • 2-3 years of experience as a Senior Social Media Manager or a comparable role in an agency or the sports/entertainment industry.
  • Proven experience as a trusted contact and resource for clients.
  • 1-3 years of team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
  • Experience in social media management, including analyzing audience demographics and behaviors.
  • Excellent storytelling skills for crafting compelling narratives.
  • Deep understanding of the nuances between social platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate with creative and social teams to meet engagement goals.
  • Strong client management skills, including maintaining relationships and understanding client needs.
  • Ability to conduct regular client meetings, anticipate challenges, and provide strategic solutions.
  • Innovative thinking for developing creative concepts for client projects.
  • Experience setting up and managing live coverage needs for clients.
  • Ability to manage social campaigns with minimal oversight.
