Description

Conair is the leading producer of auxiliary equipment for plastics processing in the world. We make and market over 450 different products, including resin-drying systems, blenders, feeders and material-conveying systems, temperature-control equipment and granulators.  Extrusion solutions include gravimetric control systems, film and sheet scrap-reclaim systems and downstream equipment for pipe and profile extrusion. Position: Electrical Engineering Co-Op

Rotation Dates: Fall 2024 (Sept-Dec), Summer 2025 (May-Aug), and Spring 2026 (Jan-Apr)

Location: 200 W. Kensinger Dr, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

Role

The Electrical Engineering Co-Op will support the Mechanical/Electrical/Software Engineering groups with an emphasis on engineering design, prototyping, testing & production. Typical rotations will progress from entry-level technician work to advanced engineering work by the last rotation.


A Conair Co-Op works on:

  • Product testing
  • Prototyping and development of fixtures
  • Development of processes
  • Research into new technologies
  • Participate in new product development
  • Assist in sustaining engineering activates such as ECN releases & drawing updates
  • Industrial hardware selection
  • Extensive use of CAD tools such as AutoCAD
  • Troubleshooting of manufacturing issues at our factory 
Requirements

We want you to apply!

  • If you are presently enrolled in an engineering major at an accredited college or university and have completed 59+ credit hours
  • If you want hands-on engineering experience in an excellent engineering lab with a great culture
