The line cooks at ROAM are responsible for the setup of the line stations, accurately cooking and executing menu items, and cleanup and breakdown of the line at the end of the day after service is complete. We expect a high level of teamwork among our crew as we all share the same common goal of having the best food and service. The line crew will be responsible for some preparation of product as part of the line setup as well as ensuring that the stocks of items are sufficient to make it through service with the goal of avoiding running out of product.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a restaurant.
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in cooking techniques and methods.
- Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
