Westcliff University is seeking a full-time Department of Global Engagement Coordinator to provide support to the Vice President and Dean of Global Engagement. The Department of Global Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the development, organization, and coordination of the day-to-day functions associated with clerical duties, meeting and travel scheduling, internet research, event organization, and other services in support of the university’s Department of Global Engagement. The Department of Global Engagement Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of Customized Short-Term Program development and execution, including creating budget proposals, scheduling workshops, making all travel arrangements, as well as scheduling excursions and site visits. The Department of Global Engagement Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining up-to-date all Memoranda of Understanding with prospective as well as current Affiliate Institutions and University Partnerships.


  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President and Dean of Global Engagement by scheduling meetings in domestic and international time zones, maintaining the calendar of events and meetings, and organizing all travel arrangements
  • Assist in the maintenance of the department’s strategic plan 
  • Organize, create, and edit documents
  • Follow up and maintain relationships with university partnerships in the US and abroad
  • Monitor and support processes associated with document and website updates
  • Coordinate all logistics and reservations (including flight tickets, meals, excursions, workshop schedules, budgets, and proposals) for customized short-term programs
  • Be responsible for the clerical and record-keeping needs of the department
  • Attend all relevant meetings and keep detailed meeting minutes
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Communication, Business, or a related field,
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience working in higher education preferred
  • International experience a plus
  • Additional languages a plus
  • Customer service: 1 year minimum
  • Administrative: 1 year minimum
