About the Role

DKB is looking for a Cabinetry Service Technician to join our South Florida based team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Carpenter or in a Cabinet Service Technician, or Cabinet Installer. In this role, you will work to service and repair cabinets, moldings, trim, and handle any touch-ups or adjustments needed on job sites.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for providing adjustments on cabinetry jobs performed by DKB installation teams.
  • Ability to understand cabinetry layout plans and work quickly to complete tasks. 
  • Communicate with customers and in-office team to ensure timely completion of assigned jobs. 
  • Ad hoc tasks relating to cabinet installation. 
  • Follow established safety/OSHA rules to maintain a safe and clean workplace.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Prior experience in carpentry, cabinetry service, and/or installation.
  • Customer Service experience: ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Homebuilders and Project Managers. 
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take direction, and work within deadlines to complete the scheduled task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining expectations.
  • Ability to follow guidelines.
