Description


Position Summary:

The Data Analyst will perform various tasks that include data migrations, creating analytics dashboards using Business Intelligence tools, and ensuring the data held within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is complete and accurate. They will map, transform, and load data into CRM from a range of source systems. This position will assist the Salesforce Manager in collaborating with Tech Innovation, Data Management, and stakeholders to provide technical assistance in examining, improving, and designing IT & data systems and processes to meet stakeholder’s requirements and goals and support the whole organization. Additionally, they will ensure CRM information is current and accurate for data integrity including merging duplicate records. This position will keep abreast with the latest advancements and research in the field and industry. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Salesforce Manager in gathering and refining requirements from stakeholders to build systems and solutions utilizing various systems to meet the organization’s goals
  • Assist the Salesforce Manager in managing CRM systems to track and report on performance relative to goals and develop improvement action plans 
  • Build and maintain Dashboards utilizing Salesforce Reports, Google Data Studio, and Power BI to track the performance of the organization for various department heads and leadership
  • Perform Data modeling where necessary to enable BI development
  • Perform data migration projects from FellowshipOne and other systems into Salesforce ensuring data integrity and completeness
  • Assist the Salesforce Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of Salesforce system via user management and permissions, updating solutions and automation, offering training and training materials to all users, and employing any fixes and updates, as needed 
  • Assist the Salesforce Manager in managing support tickets and requests to help manage tasks and projects using agile methodology and mapping out the Tech & Data Roadmap 
  • Help implement fixes and solutions to reported problems in a timely manner and with good customer service
  • Stay knowledgeable on the latest advancements in technology and data systems as well as releases for existing systems 
  • Participate in the development of solution architecture 
  • Assist the Salesforce Manager in increasing data integrity by consolidating business rules across multiple channels into one business layer using SOA architecture
  • Participate in documenting current processes and solutions
  • Assist the Salesforce Manager in coordinating the work of teammates to accomplish CRM, Business Intelligence or Data management objectives
  • Daily update progress, planned work and roadblocks in project management software

Requirements

Job-related Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience

  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred, but not required.
  • Customer service experience required
  • CRM Experience
  • Business Intelligence Experience

  • Must have the ability to grasp new technology and perform duties in compliance with the Rock and Data Management policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to clean, model, and merge data, as well as basic data analysis tasks
  • Must be able to create calculated fields in data models and/or BI products
  • Demonstrated skills and techniques to recognize problems, issues, and situations, and apply resourcefulness in finding appropriate solutions to mitigate potential negative effects. Ability to follow through to ensure effective resolution. 
  • Proven ability to interact in a consistently positive manner with external clientele, including applicants, volunteers, vendors, visitors and guests, using a high degree of tact, diplomacy, discretion, flexibility, respect, and courtesy in gesture and speech. Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions based on the vision and values of the Rock Church and Data Management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including excellence in oral and written communications to verbalize issues clearly, concisely, and competently in positive or negative situations.
  • Must possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word-processing software. 
  • Must be able to type at least 40 wpm.
  • Ability to be firm but gracious in dealing with staff and ministry leaders.

  • Contributing Member of Rock Church or willing to become one.

  • Successful completion of thorough pre-employment references and background checks, which include: social security verification, Local, State & Federal criminal conviction records search, national security database, and sex offender registry.
  • Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas services as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.
  • Member of the Rock Church (or willing to transfer membership to the Rock Church).
  • Regular involvement in Rock Church activities, ministries, and events.
  • Tithe 10% to the Rock Church.
  • Signed acknowledgment of the Rock’s Statement of Faith.
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to the Rock’s policies, procedures, and employee handbook. 
  • Be self-motivated and goal-oriented, use good judgment, and be flexible and innovative.
