The Revenue Analyst will analyze data from multiple sources, develop complex pricing models, while also overseeing the various billing related procedures and ensuring all transactions are correctly accounted for, reported, and processed for invoicing in a timely and accurate manner. This is an industry-disrupting financial technology business with new concepts on intercompany connectedness. There are various aspects to this dynamic role; the Revenue Analyst is responsible for all client sales pricing analysis, client revenue performance versus budget, forecasting, as well as overseeing the processes around client invoicing, supplier invoicing, and assisting with client-supplier transaction disputes. A major aspect of this position is identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and/or reduce errors in the various billing procedures and pricing strategies.

This role is responsible for accuracy of the client & supplier billing activities, ensuring timeliness, accuracy of inputs/outputs relating to ours and our partners’ billing activities. In addition, this role will be responsible for building, servicing and managing the client-supplier dispute process. This hands-on role requires a good financial background, technical aptitude, strong organization and documentation procedures, and a solutions-oriented approach. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the manual billing operations for multiple business lines.
• Perform ongoing reviews of billing process and controls to mitigate the risks of potential billing errors.
• Contribute to continuous enhancements to increase value add and process simplifications
• Analyze newly executed contracts to assess appropriate billing and accounting implications
• Establish and maintains relationships across a broad base of stakeholders and serves as a key point of contact for Billing Ops issues as well as regularly working with the sales team on pricing strategies - communication skills are crucial
• Develop complex pricing models and support the commercial team on RFP’s and client presentations
• Support ad-hoc analysis and projects, as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or data analytics
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience in the below:
• Client pricing and revenue forecasting experience is a must (transaction based)
• Firm understanding of data management in order to communicate with the Data Analytics Team to enhance the efficiency, accuracy and analysis of quantitative results.
• Process automation and technical proficiency
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets knowledge is a definite requirement 
• Data analysis skills and an aptitude for understanding, interpretation and investigation
• Detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment 
• Team oriented, collaborative, motivated, adaptable and flexible
• Ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment; this is a startup environment
• Strong interpersonal skills as cross-functional dialogues occur on a regular basis
