Seal Company Enterprises, Inc. is currently looking to hire an Account Manager for our OKC location to sell superior quality gaskets, seals and custom machined products to customers.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The primary function of the Account Manager is to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and perspective partners and customers of the company. The Account Manager will generate new business in the market areas targeted by the Director of Sales. The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid customers in their success with our product. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The primary duties and responsibilities of the Account Manager consist of, but are not limited to:)

  • Grow sales from current customer base.
  • Generate new customer business in the market areas defined by the Director of Sales.
  • Achieve or exceed the sales, growth, and gross profits goals set by the Director of Sales.
  • Identify new product, services or markets that will help the company to maximize revenue year after year.
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs.
  • Make visits to our customers to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Team with assigned Inside Sales team members to ensure customer’s needs are met.
  • Remain visible in the business community and in the marketplace in which the company operates and provide a positive and professional image for the company.
  • Keep updated on the events in the industry and marketplace in order to take advantage of new changes.
  • Ensure that all company transactions are conducted in an ethical and prudent manner.
  • Operate within the principles of character core and exceed oneself and others' expectations through their actions.
  • All other duties and tasks as may be directed from time to time by the Director of Sales.


Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • Required – High school diploma or equivalent and at least one-year experience in sales.
  • Preferred – College degree in business, sales or marketing and at least three years’ experience in sales preferably in the seals/gasket industry.
  • Preferred--Technical aptitude to read, understand and interpret mechanical data and drawings.  


  • Previous account management experience is highly desired, including managing a multi-state territory.
  • Accustomed to a client facing role.
  • Preference will be given to candidates in or those who can readily relocate to the OKC metropolitan area.






Salary Description
$72k base plus monthly commission
