Warm Beach Camp Ministries exist to share the hope and love of Christ through camping ministries and experiences in the Pacific Northwest. This requires a strong and sustainable Human Resources as we provide the resources and support to the whole ministry in all aspects of recruiting, screening, onboarding, employee management & improvement. This position will provide the support and administrative responsibilities to make this happen. Warm Beach Camp Ministries has 3 locations in the Pacific Northwest and 100-180 employees each year.

SPECIFICS & COMPESNATION: Pay rate will start at $17.00/hour up to $19.00/hour depending on skills and experience. 

Position starts as soon as possible.  This is a part-time or full-time, year-round position.

Shifts will primarily be Monday-Friday with some evening and weekend shifts scheduled, especially during November and December.

If full-time (32-40 hours a week):

  • Full knowledge and understanding of the HR software Paylocity.
  • Prepare open positions for positing, working with hiring managers to provide support in the recruiting, screening, interviewing and hiring process as needed.
  • Assist employees with their Onboarding experience and ensuring a smooth process.
  • Assist The Lights of Christmas event with the coordination of employee schedules and communication of pre-event setup dates, training and event shifts. 
  • Maintain job descriptions, HR forms and keep manuals and policy documents up to date. 
  • Research and provide recommendation for the improvement of the employee experience, HR policies, employee recruitment and retention. 
  • Maintain all certification and safety training documents and records and support the General Managers in the scheduling, implementation and training of safety and health for our employees.
  • Provide Administration support to the Business Office department with things such as filing, processing mail and deliveries etc. as assigned.
  • Help with special events and be available as needed for The Lights of Christmas event (Nov-Dec).  

General Qualifications: The standard qualifications for being on Warm Beach Camp staff is being willing and able in good conscience to support our statement of faith, values and mission as an Evangelical Christian, non-profit ministry. We are looking for a person who possesses and practices common sense, discretion, accuracy, and honesty in the performance of his/her duties. This person must work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines as well as demonstrate complete confidentiality, discretion and follow all policies. Must be detail oriented and good communicator. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is desired and knowledge of or ability to quickly learn the HR software Paylocity.
