New Era Technology is looking for a Telecommunications Provisioner to provide network/circuit provisioning services for our large customer commercial projects. 

PRIMARY DUTIES include but not limited to: 

• Fulfill orders for off-net circuits, ethernet circuits, NNIs, UNI, EVC, DIA, or other ASRs for enterprise deployments
• Utilize New Era systems for access management and service order fulfillment.
• Assist with resolution of provisioning issues and escalations and develops practices and procedures for circuit installation and      maintenance.
• Responsible for circuit designs, carrier selection, circuit ordering, provisioning, implementation, carrier escalations and inventory.
• Provide in-depth analysis and design for large scale network projects requiring complex layer 1 transport diversity.  This includes circuit design and fiber routes, carrier recommendations, partnering with Supply Chain on RFP and contract negotiations, and financial analysis.
• Escalate both internal  and carrier issues as needed to meet business needs
• Manage private SONET and DWDM ring maps and assign/document carrier facility assignments.
• Manage carrier fiber build process including the procurement of space and power.
• Manage colocations and port assignments.
• Circuit test and turn-up.
• Demonstrate a high-level of professionalism and strong dedication to the success and on-time delivery of projects.

COMPETENCIES: 

• Understanding of fulfilling ASRs or Access Service Requests.
• Experience with network service delivery applications.
• Circuit research that includes sonnet ring management, cross-connect management, opening tickets, billing research, working with GNOC.
• Switched Ethernet, MPLS, and T1 circuit install.
• Circuit grooms, disconnects POT’s, and SIP trucks.
• Point to Point, Gig E and EMEA circuit installs and upgrades.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

• 3- 5 years of experience with telecommunications provisioning. 
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
