Operated under the stewardship of the George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF), affiliated programs include nationally recognized and innovative organizations like Tulsa Remote, Tulsa Innovation Labs, inTulsa, Build In Tulsa, Atlas School, Campus Tulsa, and Tulsa Service Year, among others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing various technical projects for the technology team, the organization, and its users. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and vendors to define project goals and develop strategies tailored to their needs. Key responsibilities include:


  • Setting and defining project goals and devising actionable plans to achieve them.
  • Creating and maintaining project timelines, budget estimates, and status reports.
  • Managing resources, including software tools and team members, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Coordinating project team members, developing detailed schedules, and assigning individual responsibilities.
  • Implementing IT strategies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Utilizing project management tools to monitor project performance and adherence to schedules.
  • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments for all projects.
  • Organizing and leading meetings to discuss project objectives and track progress.
  • Any other duties as assigned


KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years minimum experience as an IT project manager or equivalent position
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM), or significant work toward certifications, preferred. 
  • Extensive experience with with project management software such as Asana, JIRA and Monday.com
  • Proven track record working as a project leader in an Agile framework with a portfolio of projects
  • Project management leadership skills for managing IT projects and the IT and non-IT teams involved with them
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder and team interactions, with an emphasis of communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing project demands and priorities.


Physical Requirements:

  • Position continually requires the ability to talk and hear both in person and over the phone, visual acuity; ability to operate equipment, read, and use a keyboard
  • Position frequently requires the ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Position requires the ability to travel occasionally but not regularly

Hours & Location:

  • This is not a fully remote position as we work in a hybrid office environment. In-Office and hybrid/flexible schedules are based on business need, staff readiness, and approved by one's supervisor. 
  • You must live in or be able to relocate to Tulsa, OK or the surrounding area.
  • This is a full-time position with an expectation of working 40 hours per week.
  • The typical hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Ability to occasionally work hours outside of 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. for events.
