Our Award-Winning Oceanfront restaurant seeks a friendly, upbeat Front Desk Coordinator to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate would be responsible for ensuring that our front desk team consistently demonstrates our values that Everything Matters, beginning with first impressions throughout every guest and team-member interaction.
· Answer phones within 3 rings and schedule reservations
· Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
· Seat guests and take initial drink orders as needed to ensure greeting time of 1 minute
· Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
· Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff
· Have complete menu knowledge
· Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
· Greet guests with warm, friendly & inviting smile and body language as soon as they walk through the door
· 1-3 years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
· Team Leader who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever possible
· High school diploma/GED preferred
· Flexible schedule, particularly for weekend/evening shifts
· Friendly, open disposition
· Ability to work 6+ hours on your feet at a time
· Able to give positive feedback and/or constructive criticism
