Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to join our team. The RBT will work mainly with children and adolescents experiencing severe learning disabilities and developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans supervised by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate must demonstrate patience, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Implement Behavior Plans: Follow detailed behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified   Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support individuals with behavior challenges.

· Direct Client Interaction: Engage with clients directly to implement behavior protocols and collect   data on their progress.

· Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately record and track behavioral data during sessions, ensuring   documentation is thorough and timely.

· Behavioral Support: Provide consistent and effective reinforcement of desired behaviors and   appropriate responses to challenging behaviors.

· Documentation: Maintain detailed records of client sessions, including progress notes and incident   reports, in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

· Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to maintain RBT certification and   develop skills in behavior analysis and intervention techniques.

· Ethics and Professionalism: Adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Professional   and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

· Client and Family Support: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to provide   support, answer questions, and ensure understanding of behavior intervention plans.

· Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during sessions, following   established safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields   preferred.

· Certification and at least one year of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

· Demonstrated knowledge in applied behavior analysis (ABA)

· Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

· Active Medicaid/National Provider Identification (NPI) number

· Lee County School District Badge preferred

· Ability to travel to patients’ homes within a 25-mile radius


LANGUAGE SKILLS:

· Fluency in written and verbal English skills are required

· Fluency in Spanish is preferred


Hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday (40-hour position)
