SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES


Pablo Production Crew employees are responsible for the setup and operation of sound reinforcement systems, lighting systems, projection equipment, video equipment, communications equipment, event setup equipment and in-house systems in Pablo Center and for Pablo-supported external events.

Production Crew is required to uphold the Pablo Center reputation of professionalism through appearance, demeanor, and performance, maintaining consistent work ethic regardless of the client or duty. In addition, Production Crew is expected to aid Pablo Center Staff, visiting artists and guests, and patrons in any capacity as needed. Crew are required to work collaboratively for extended periods of time in close proximity (i.e., distances under five feet) with Artists, Patrons, Students, Community Members, Board Members and Pablo Center Staff.

Requirements

  SPECIFIC DUTIES


? Assist in the setup, use, storage, and care of audio, lighting, projection, video and facilities equipment.

? Maintain audio standards as defined by the Audio Engineer (e.g., proper storage of equipment, proper setup of Dante network, etc.).

? Maintain lighting standards as defined by the Lighting Supervisor (e.g., proper storage of equipment, proper setup of Net3 universes, restoration of rep plot, etc.)

? Serve on Run Crew for performance events (e.g., concerts, festivals, galas)

? Serve as Room Monitor for non-performance events (e.g., classes, business meetings)

? Assist in the professional execution of events to best of ability and regardless of task.

? Provide general maintenance and cleaning of work areas.

? Assist when appropriate in training junior crew members

? Participate in training programs at the direction of the Audio Engineer, Event Production Manager, or Master Electrician (Production Staff).

? Follow the employee handbook and code of conduct.

? Know safety protocols for production work and alert staff when safety is an issue.

? Wear PPE in accordance with current building, county health, and OSHA guidelines.

? Work collaboratively for extended periods of time in close proximity (i.e., distances under five feet) with Artists, Patrons, Students, Community Members, Board Members and Pablo Center Staff.

? Assist with the installation of theatrical sets for touring and in-house productions.

? Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS


? Must be at least 18 years of age.

? Willing to learn through hands-on experience.

? Able to carry 50 pounds.

? Able to work at height; including climbing ladders, operating Genie-type lifts, and working in exposed overhead areas that require wearing fall-protection gear.

? Able to follow directions and accept feedback from supervisors and peers.

? Have a strong sense of professional courtesy.

? Able to work independently.

? Able to maintain a professional demeanour when in a situation heightened by a deadline, emergency, or emotion.

? Available to work flexible hours including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

SALARY & HOURS


Starting wage: $17/hour

10-35 hours per week depending on availability and Pablo Center production schedule. Flexible scheduling.
