Job Summary: 

We are seeking a motivated Material Handler/Parcel Processor who will efficiently process boxes and prepare them for shipment.  


The starting hourly rate for this role is up to $20/hour.  Morning and afternoon shifts are available. 


Job Description:

  • Process inbound parcels from pallet to DMIS (workstation) and to conveyor in a fast and efficient manner
  • Relabel and scan parcels
  • Build palletized shipment consolidations 
  • Load/unload trucks (as needed), operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
  • Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Keep products separated, organized and in good rotation.
  • Monitor product frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
  • Operate various pieces of equipment.
  • Report on any mechanical problems. 
  • Utilize continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes. 
  • Follow good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices. 
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
Requirements

  

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Prior experience using a WMS, ERP or MRP is preferred. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Lift parcels of various size and weight of up to 50 pounds 
  • Continuous bending, twisting, lifting
