Pediatric Development Center (PDC) might just be the place for you! PDC is a private pediatric OT clinic employing 21 OTs and 6 support staff and we are expanding. We are looking for therapists who want to grow with us!  PDC has 2 clinic locations, one in Westbrook and one in Saco, and we are looking to add to our clinical team!

In order to serve more families in our community, we are looking for another therapist to join the PDC family. By joining our team you will be helping to fulfill our mission to provide the highest quality occupational therapy regarding assessments and treatment of children with a wide range of needs and support to their families. Our therapists are leaders who provide occupational therapy services to children and their families regarding developmental and sensory integration evaluations, treatment, parent information and support. We are seeking a therapist whose work values align with our mission and is excited to become a contributing and valued member of our team. We take pride in the high level of mentoring and support we provide to therapists as they strive to provide the highest quality occupational therapy services. As therapists grow and develop they are encouraged to work up our clinical ladder and become leaders at PDC. Requirements

This position requires the following job tasks and duties:

  • Documentation to support evaluation and treatment of clients including but not limited to:
    • Evaluation writing
    • Goal writing
    • Discharges
    • Treatment Notes
    • Letters of Medical Necessity
    • IEP supporting documents
    • Re-evaluations
  • Create treatment plans catered to each child’s unique needs
  • Implement treatment of a wide range of clients
  • Create and provide carry-over activities for home
  • Maintain an up-to-date schedule, indicating any changes in adherence with company policy
  • Assist with rescheduling clients as needed
  • Clean up after oneself including but not limited to therapy spaces, therapy equipment and games, and office space
  • Assist with cleanliness of treatment equipment
  • Ongoing communication with parents so that all members of the team have a sound understanding of goals and objectives
  • Mentoring students both directly and indirectly
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals and other disciplines such as PTs, SLPs, teachers, social work
  • Take on level I and level II fieldwork students
Salary Description
$53,500+
