POSITION SUMMARY 

Elektrofi is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team as a?People Operations Coordinator (contract position) to support our mission of attracting and retaining top talent. The individual will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. You will work closely with the HR and Operations teams to contribute to building a high-performing workforce while also supporting various talent acquisition activities and office event coordination.  


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates. 
  • Candidate Experience: Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring timely follow-ups, managing interview logistics, and addressing candidate inquiries. 
  • Database Management: Maintain and update candidate information in our Paylocity Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and generate reports as needed. 
  • Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, coordinating pre-employment activities, and facilitating orientation sessions. 
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout the recruitment process. 
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and HR team members to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices. 
  • Office and Event Coordination: As needed, this role will assist the office operations teams (finance, legal, IT, and facilities) with projects; support company events by ordering catering, ordering supplies, communicating with vendors, etc.  
Requirements

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. 
  • Required: 1-2+ years of experience in people operations, recruitment, or talent coordination, preferably in the biotech or life sciences industry. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in-person and via email. 
  • Familiarity with Paylocity Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software. 
  • Familiarity with recruitment best practices and employment laws. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
