Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for an experienced Inside Property Claims Professional to join our Claims Team. This position has the opportunity to be fully remote, work a hybrid schedule or regularly report to home office.
The right candidate will handle off-site investigations of claims to determine coverage, liability, damages and resolution. As an Inside Property Claims Representative II with Indiana Farmers Insurance, you will support our vision by driving prompt and fair claims resolutions.

Qualifications and Responsibilities for the Inside Property Claims Representative II include:
- Three - Five years relevant work experience or equivalent
- Experience and expertise in writing structural property estimates, utilizing virtual inspection tools and/or AI generated scoping of damage platforms
- College degree required or related work experience.
- Professional designation (CPCU, CSLA, AIC, etc.), strongly preferred
- Solid problem solving and decision-making abilities, in a timely good-faith manner while maintaining a strong sense of urgency
- Identifying, investigating, and referring potentially fraudulent claims
- Ability to read and interpret policies and endorsements
- Fairly and accurately assessing claims when time is of the essence, according to policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Possess effective and positive interpersonal communication skills and demonstrating a professional, yet friendly demeanor
- Adeptness to effectively cope with difficult individuals and situations
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record
