Summary 

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining positive internal and external customer relationships by successfully coordinating large and small-scale marketing tasks, projects, and events. This role will work directly with clients to understand their timelines, milestones, and budgetary restrictions, and communicate that with the marketing team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of deliverables. The Marketing Operations Manager will audit contracts, billing, team, client communications, and more.  


Essential Functions

  • Serve as CSD Marketing’s primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with nonprofit goals and mission-driven initiatives.
  • Understand the unique needs of clients and advocate for quality assurance and brand cohesion throughout the creative process, while communicating CSD Marketing standards and values.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies tailored to client’s environments, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of marketing and communications deliverables in line with organizational objectives and expectations.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting impact, community engagement, and mission advancement.
  • Deliver comprehensive status updates and project insights to clients, including leading monthly reporting presentations, end-of-project reviews, and more, with a focus on transparency and accountability.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for the organization’s mission.
  • Manage finance requests and facilitate invoicing and billing processes between CSD’s finance team, vendors, and clients, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee the intake and purchasing requests process, ensuring efficient and ethical procurement practices.
  • Maintain corporate marketing collateral inventory lists, ensuring materials reflect the organization’s mission and values and are used effectively for outreach and engagement.
  • Coordinate marketing tasks and calendars via Microsoft SharePoint and Planner, optimizing workflow and resource allocation for maximum impact.
  • Perform other marketing duties as required by business needs, with a focus on supporting the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
Requirements


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 


To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:  


  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, respond, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Solid experience with Office 365 solutions including SharePoint, Planner, and Forms.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs using marketing and transactional emails and distribution lists.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to train employees, coordinate backups, and utilize independent contractors as appropriate. 
  • Excellent listening, written communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to understand and present data reports and field client questions.
  • Experience delegating tasks and prioritizing multiple projects with an understanding of maintaining relationships and revenue.
  • Experience keeping inventory of Marketing items with an excellent strategy for organization.
  • Advertising Agency experience is a plus.
  • Some travel will be required to larger events.
  • Engaged, motivated, and success driven.
  • This job requires flexibility to occasionally work outside of typical business hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. 

Qualifications 


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in project management, social media content production, project coordination, sales, advertising, customer service, public relations, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and manage mid-large-scale events from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure all aspects of an event, from logistics, are meticulously planned and executed, creating a cohesive and impactful experience for attendees.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language (Preferred).
Salary Description
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00/year
