Job Title: Regional Sales Agronomy Manager


Region: Northern Minnesota and North Dakota


We are looking for team-oriented people who will help us continue to expand and grow. This individual will have responsibility supporting liquid fertilizer sales through our growing dealer network. In cooperation with our distribution partners this territory manager will spend time in the country calling on Producers and educating customers on features and benefits of QLF Agronomy’s Liquid Carbon Based Fertilizers. This individual will provide sound soil product nutritional and management consultation in an effort to enhance bottom line profitability. This individual will assist with the market strategy development with the QLF Team and Management.  This individual will maintain and grow their product, and agronomy skills in order to effectively grow value added sales in this market. This individual must maintain a high level of knowledge in the following areas: product; product storage and handling, nutritional application, problem solving, sales promotion and marketing.  This individual will have a major part in the communication between our Sales Staff, Logistics and Transportation, Technical Team and Marketing to ensure we are providing the product information needed in the market development and growth.  Additionally, this individual will interact with other professionals in the industry, academia and government.


This position is a field-based position.  This individual will be required to reside within the territory assigned.  Travel will be required.

Requirements

Required:  Strong understanding of applied soil and crop management; familiarity with the agronomy industry; industry experience/marketplace knowledge, prior sales experience with a proven track record in developing new accounts, working knowledge of proper soil and crop management.  A strong agricultural business aptitude, understanding of nutrient analytical testing and interpretation of results is preferred.  The successful candidate will have superior verbal and written communication skills, troubleshooting and problem solving skills, and have computer literacy with email, Word, Excel, Power Point, must be able to multi-task, prioritize, work under deadlines and function well as part of a team.
