Description

 E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO in support of the Space Development Agency. The Space Development Agency (SDA) delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible. 
  • Maintain ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure. 
  • Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts. 
  • Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance. 
  • Support full automation of CI/ testing. 
  • Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers. 
  • Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production. 
  • Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms. 
  • Provide guidance and apply agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of product. 
  • Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.
Requirements

  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience 
  • Gitlab-ci experience
  • DevSecOps pipeline experience
  • Complete understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Build/Release engineering
  • Kubernetes experience (of any kind) but Rancher Federal a plus
  • Understanding of AWS cloud and components of the AWS cloud (AMI, EC2, RDS, LBs, etc)
  • Ability to read logs, troubleshoot, and diagnose infrastructure issues
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Must have the ability to travel

Preferred Experience:


Experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
  • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
  • CSPs including Azure, AWS, or OCI
  • Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
  • Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
  • Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Amulous, STIG scanner
  • Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
  • Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
  • Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
