Description
E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO in support of the Space Development Agency. The Space Development Agency (SDA) delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
- Maintain ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure.
- Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
- Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
- Support full automation of CI/ testing.
- Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
- Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.
- Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
- Provide guidance and apply agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of product.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience
- Gitlab-ci experience
- DevSecOps pipeline experience
- Complete understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Build/Release engineering
- Kubernetes experience (of any kind) but Rancher Federal a plus
- Understanding of AWS cloud and components of the AWS cloud (AMI, EC2, RDS, LBs, etc)
- Ability to read logs, troubleshoot, and diagnose infrastructure issues
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) TS/SCI security clearance.
- Must have the ability to travel
Preferred Experience:
Experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
- Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
- CSPs including Azure, AWS, or OCI
- Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
- Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
- Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Amulous, STIG scanner
- Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
- Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
Salary Description
