POSITION SUMMARY:
Test Center Invigilators support the test-day activities and administrative management of an IELTS on Computer (IOC) test center. Invigilators support the IELTS USA Test Center Administration team with office activities that support IOC and other IELTS operations. ?supports the accurate and effective administration of the IELTS testing program both for standard IELTS and that used for immigration to the United Kingdom (UKVI).supports the accurate and effective administration of the IELTS testing program both for standard IELTS and that used for immigration to the United Kingdom (UKVI).
The Test Center Invigilator also helps the Administration team to ensure that IELTS testing is carried out in a manner that above all preserves the security and integrity of the IELTS program. The Test Center Invigilator is a key member of a cross-functional team of IELTS administration personnel; this team will provide a combination of functions: test administration, customer service, and score report processing.

REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test Day Support
You are required to:
- Follow all relevant standards & procedures, based on training and reference materials provided by IELTS USA and the IELTS Partnership
- Conduct the IELTS test-day operation in a manner that ensures that candidates have a positive and consistent test-day experience and a positive image of IELTS USA
- Act in accordance with the emergency procedures for the Test Center
- Assist with the setup of testing venues in accordance with IELTS regulations
- Manage all materials, security, and identification checks, and computer lab equipment in adherence with IELTS security standards
- Ensure that all Candidate’s information is managed per privacy policies
- Invigilate/Proctor the IELTS test to the standard required which includes:
- Maintaining vigilance when observing test-takers
- Acting in accordance to policy when a violation is suspected, documenting confirmed violations
- Controlling the test environment to prevent irregularities
- Reporting incidents and irregularities per policy
- Ensuring the safety of test takers at all times
- Completing other reports as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
Test Day Customer Support
- Enable good customer experience by giving candidates clear directions and answering their questions
- Ensure that candidates follow the agreed exam procedures
- Conduct candidate identity checks and test day photography procedures according to IELTS standards
- Ensure special arrangements are provided as required
Training and Development
- Attend all briefing and training sessions as required by IELTS USA—including Customer Support, IELTS Policy and System training, and any other training required as an employee of IELTS USA
- Undertake commitment to understand and act with accordance with the operational guidelines for current and forthcoming IELTS systems and policies
Risk and Compliance
- Use standardized processes to monitor compliance with agreed corporate risk management procedures relevant to service delivery (e.g. child protection, security policies, financial protocols, anti-fraud measures) to protect the interests of IELTS USA and its customers at all times
- Highlights to senior managers any instances of non-compliance
- Contribute to contingency plans to manage delivery safely and effectively

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIRED:
- A fluent level of English communication
- Successful completion of Secondary/High School diploma
- Understand and commit to maintaining appropriate standards of confidentiality and security of materials and personal information
- Strong ability to observe people; to act with tact and clarity of purpose
- Understand the importance of criteria and protocols related to assessment, and test administration
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Dependability, reliability, punctuality
- Customer service orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
- Strong communication skills
- Appreciation and understanding of differences in cultural communication styles
- Knowledge of IELTS test policy and procedures is a plus.
- Willingness and availability to work on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at least 15-20 weeks of the year.

This role may require some bending and lifting.
The physical requirements of this position include, but are not limited to sedentary work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
