Director of Operations Responsibilities
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations, projects and systems.
- Collaborates with leaders and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials. Conduct workflow mapping to ensure efficiency and relationship leveraging.
- Ensures that organizational decisions and project plans such as those for material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.
- Establishes and monitors quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness is evaluated and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor, analyze and interpret strategic plan data and metrics and present periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
- Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
- Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
- Oversees major purchases for buildings, vehicles, and residential maintenance.
- Establishes and maintains vendor procurement, processes, and relationships.
- Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, property purchasing, assets, and technology to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
- Performs other related duties as assigned

$70,000-$75,000/ year
A Director of Operations will:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or another industry-related field required; MBA preferred.
- At least 10 years of industry-related experience preferred, including three years in upper management required.
- Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance.
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
