Greenville University is seeking a full-time, assistant professor with expertise in digital media (DM) with specific expertise in graphic and web design. The candidate must possess the abilities to work with multiple digital technologies including design, imaging, and animation. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked extensively in the field (esp. marketing and/or business). The position begins in August 2020.
Primary teaching responsibilities include graphic design, web design, animation, introduction to digital media and other courses within the Digital Media Department. Digital Media faculty are expected to supervise student internships and student projects in the field.
The ideal candidate will have an MFA in graphic design, new media or related discipline. Applicants must be dedicated to undergraduate teaching and research or related practical experience, have a vibrant personal Christian faith commitment, and a desire to serve as a role model for students in a Christian academic community.
Salary is based on academic preparation and years of relevant experience. The University also provides a generous benefits package that includes health and retirement plans.
