Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive punctually at the venue and be ready to work.
- Prepare event spaces by cleaning windows, wiping down banisters, bathrooms, and setting up tables, cleaning glassware, amongst various other opening side work.
- Comprehend and execute tasks outlined in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
- Assist the Special Events Supervisor in prepping food displays and ensuring their presentation meets our standards.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Maintain a high standard of fine dining service throughout the event, including knowledge of the food and beverage being served.
- Ensure spaces are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Complete assigned side work during and after events to contribute to the smooth operation of the event.
- Break down and reset venues promptly and efficiently, leaving them ready for the next event.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event setup, food service, or hospitality preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service practices.
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
