Description

The Manager of Partner Grant Program will oversee grant-style expansion projects to grow partner capacity and provide support to partner agencies. This includes providing guidance on NTFB’s internal grant process and external grant opportunities. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, social services, nonprofit management, or related field

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Well-organized and self-directed
  • Able to multitask; strong attention to detail and ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to collaboratively work with diverse groups 
  • Knowledge and competency of standard grant application processes
  • Demonstrated ability to build community contacts 
  • Knowledge of food banking or food shelf systems is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications 

Experience:

  • Five years of demonstrated success in grant administration, monitoring and evaluation 
  • Program management, data collection, analysis and reporting is a plus

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that grant data collection and management is accurate and efficient; build and maintain standard operating procedures to support ongoing data initiatives related to outcomes and other grant-related data collection
  • Steward the funds allocated for partner growth, advancing hope for tomorrow services and improving operational efficiencies in our 12-county service area  
  • Strategically lead and diversify the grant program through innovative leadership to increase opportunities for agency partners to apply and secure funds that are impactful and create growth for those agencies 
  • Oversee grant-funded projects, including approval of business cases, milestone timelines, and tracking and reporting progress to leadership and the NTFB Board
  • Partner with the Community Partner Relations team to identify and target agencies with the capacity to grow in underserved areas 
  • Review all relevant contract or legal documents to ensure projects adhere to the budgeted scope of work
  • Identify and evaluate NTFB partners that align with the NTFB grant-style growth projects by working with the Community Partner Specialists to determine capital needs that drive partner growth 
  • Visit agency partners as part of the grant evaluation process and to build or maintain community partnerships
  • Collaborate with supervisor to oversee the design and development of any capital infrastructure investments in a partner 
  • Serve as NTFB’s subject matter expert regarding the grant program and outcomes achieved as a result of investment
  • Promote a culture of high performance, customer service, accountability, quality and excellence
  • Equitable and timely leadership of performance management and team learning objectives
  • Effectively represent NTFB in the community, as an ambassador of our values and mission 
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead one direct report

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  
  • Some travel required within our 12-county service area
