Your Purpose as a Social Media Intern:

  • Coordinate daily content calendar, including copywriting, asset coordination, and posting on key platforms.
  • Create monthly content calendars for Baxter Auto Group and luxury dealerships.
  • Capture dynamic content at dealerships, including photography and videography.
  • Edit video content for social media channels, ensuring consistency in style, messaging and branding
  • Design graphics in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for use on social media channels, ensuring brand guidelines are followed
  • Lead and collaborate with dealership social media ambassadors.
  • Work with HR to create social campaigns supporting talent acquisition.
  • Use social listening to enhance social media strategies and stay updated on emerging trends.
  • Collaborate on and maintain quarterly social media reports for company leadership.
  • Assist with marketing tasks, including billing, reporting, and proofreading.
  • Proactive in collaboration with the marketing team and external partners.
  • Adaptable under pressure, bringing innovative ideas within brand guidelines.
  • Strong written and oral skills, capable of writing in brand voice and delivering presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0-1+ years of marketing experience
  • BS/BA  degree or graduation date within 1 year
  • Must be available to work in the Omaha metro area during Fall 2024
  • Passionate about staying current with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new industries and apply knowledge to marketing strategies.
  • Proficient in analyzing data, managing projects, and working with marketing metrics and spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of integrity and autonomy.
  • Highly proficient in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok) and tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Word, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Preferred experience in video and photo editing.
