APA - The Engineered Wood Association is seeking a dedicated Region Manager to oversee the administration of Quality Services Division audit programs within our client mills in the Eastern U.S. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic teak, ensuring that quality standards are met while contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.


What You Will Do:

  • Be able to perform duties of both a Quality Auditor and Region Coordinator.
  • Supervise inspections and audits for conformance to industry standards.
  • Administer trademarking policies, recommending actions when necessary.
  • Train, develop, and evaluate team members, making personnel recommendations.
  • Manage region budget and assess audit programs to identify areas of improvement.

Requirements

What We are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification. 
  • Experience with ISO Lead Auditing and knowledge of engineered wood products like plywood, OSB, and I-joists.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to top management and public groups.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and work under multiple deadlines.
  • Physical ability to handle wood products and lift 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Valid driver's license and passport for routine travel throughout North America.
