Position Overview 

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll play a vital role in expanding our customer base within our targeted regions (HI/Pacific, Mountain, Central), with a focus on supporting our Business Units. Your success will be gauged by your ability to consistently meet or surpass monthly targets for customer engagements and securing new meetings.


A key aspect of your role will involve gathering insights about potential customers, and we'll rely on you to capture and manage this data effectively using our CRM system, for which training will be provided.


This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager. It is a hybrid/remote position but may require periodic travel to one of our offices.

Essential Functions

  • Act as the essential bridge between U.S. CAD and prospective clients, championing our values and nurturing vital sales      connections.
  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospective clients in the AEC industry.
  • Research accounts, identify key decision-makers, generate interest, and deliver a high-level overview of U.S. CAD solutions.
  • Build trust with prospects by educating them on cost-saving measures and enhanced technology support options.
  • Conduct thorough pre-call planning, including research, setting objectives, defining agendas, and strategizing conversations.
  • Execute a high volume of outbound calls—around 50 calls per day—demonstrating a fearless approach to phone engagement.
  • Supplement calls with strategic email and LinkedIn outreach to achieve a robust total of 80-100 daily touchpoints.
  • Meet and exceed daily sales activity metrics to contribute to the overall success of the business development team.
  • Provide continuous closed-loop feedback to refine and optimize the entire sales lifecycle.
  • Meticulous documentation of customer interactions in our CRM (NetSuite) is vital for fostering transparency and enhancing      collaborative efforts across departments.
  • Immerse yourself in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, gaining a thorough understanding of the      products and services integral to this sector.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to remain well-versed in U.S. CAD’s product suite and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with a team of adept sales and technical professionals across multiple offices and regions.
  • Embrace additional responsibilities as needed to align with the company’s objectives and aspirations.

Physical Requirements

  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing.
  • Continuous use of computers and other office equipment.
  • The ability to travel may be required for key events.

Pay Range

  • $50,000 - $77,000 OTE
