Summary

Provides technical support to the Account Management team. Such serving will include verbal and written communication internally with staff and externally with current clients and other office support activities.

Client/Policy Services

Provides daily support to Account Managers and Employee Benefits group health accounts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing eligibility additions, terminations, and changes.
  • Assisting in keeping the Benefit Point system and Employee Navigator up to date and maintained for groups.
  • Assisting in the preparation of renewal kits, including, benefits guides, employee paperwork, etc.
  • Assisting with inbound calls as needed.
  • Learning all Employee Benefits service standards and procedures, including daily service.
  • Backup to the Receptionist.

Office Administration/File Management

Responsibilities include:

Documenting all correspondence and following up for necessary information updates at appropriate times.

Teamwork

Works together with team and with other departments, such as Marketing, Accounting and Producers, etc.; this includes conferencing with Producer to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed.

Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization’s education program.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must be able to obtain insurance licenses and designations as set forth by the organization's education plans.
