Marketing Video and Print Advertising Specialist

Job Description:

This position is primarily focused on content curation for Marketing and Advertising efforts in coordination with mk Management. You will be trained in technical product areas of focus, the manufacturing industry, as well as mk internal processes in order to produce a quality and comprehensive media product to support the company and marketing initiatives. 


Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate a seamless process flow from media schedule to media gather, to content curation
  • Collect media daily of projects on the production floor, both video and photography
  • Ability to competently gather cohesive video of projects on shop floor with the intent to edit for online posting
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, collaboration with internal departments and personnel to develop media gathering plan and strategies
  • Generation of print and digital advertisements in a timely manner based on collaborated priorities and timelines
  • Creates and produces original graphic design for print publication, direct mail, advertising, and environmental design. 
  • Provides original illustration art for print, web, and video productions. 
  • Executes and collaborates on design assignments based on existing creative concepts, design briefs, and vision.
  • Executes tasks on-time and efficiently
  • Computer skills should include experience with Microsoft products, Adobe Creative Cloud, and similar office systems
  • Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Light Room, etc. 


Job Requirements:

  • Strong ability in videography work both in shooting and post-video editing
  • Experience with semi-professional and or professional cameras and other media equipment
  • Experience with professional social media content curation and coordination (B2B experience preferred)
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Follows branding guidelines, ensures branding consistency
  • Attention to detail is crucial - demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness without compromising creativity
  • Self-motivated, completes tasks within the required timeframe 
  • Reacts well under pressure
  • Accepts responsibility for own actions


Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment:

This job operates mainly in the office area. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners. Employee will also be trained to be proficient with various software packages the company utilizes. Employee occasionally must spend time on the shop floor, around moving mechanical parts and loud noises.


Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  

  • Able to lift, carry and move a minimum of 25 lbs. 
  • Must be able to physically use various pieces of office equipment
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to look at computer screens for long periods of time


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time exempt position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, with additional hours as required.


Wage:

Annual wage range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. There is also a quarterly sales bonus program that applies to this position which is based on meeting company sales goals.



Travel:

There is no travel required for this position.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Experience in Branding and Marketing 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Strong portfolio of creative and professional design work
  • Experience in website design and management is not required, but is preferred
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and or Contact Relationship Management (CRM) systems is not required, but is preferred
