The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating various sales activities, such as order management, market analysis, and customer relationship building. This role involves supporting the sales team, handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The role is essential to support organizational goals and model best practices, guided by our values of Excellence, Accountability, Transparency and Stewardship (EATS).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Services and assists with managed and non-managed customers.
- Partners with Sales Directors to maintain developed accounts and maintains specified tier level of customers.
- Communicates with sales, claims, production, shipping, accounts receivable and payables.
- Informs sales and/or customer of unit price changes or updates, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
- Maintains specified customer-related pricing within defined limits.
- Processes and manages sales orders from inception to fulfillment, including order entry, tracking, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Acts as point of contact for customer inquiries, providing accurate information about products, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Contributes to the common sales goals of the department.
- Maintains at or above expected FOB’s set by upper management.
- Records or files copy of orders received.
- Completes follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
- Computes price, discount, sales representative’s commission, and shipping charges as required.
- Confers with production, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
- Specifies special labeling required for shipment and in some instances supplies to the shipping department.
- Gathers and analyzes market data, customer feedback, and industry trends to support sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
- Advises sales and/or customers if the order is close to the current dollar discount and inquire if they would like to take advantage of the discount by adding to the order.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Enters data into computer, to determine total cost for customer.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
· Associate degree or equivalent course of study
· 5+ years of proven sales support or coordination experience or related field
· Proficient computer skills with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
· Experience with Famous Software, Power BI, ATS, customer specific software, portals, preferred
