Marra Forni is a family-owned business and by extension, the Marra Forni team operates as a collaborative family, made up of diverse, talented, and unique skilled individuals. Marra Forni is the fastest growing brick oven manufacturer of handcrafted brick ovens for commercial and residential use.

Marra Forni is seeking a Director of Marketing remotely. Reporting to the CEO, this position is responsible for the strategic execution and management of the company’s marketing function. Direct duties include brand strategy development, budgeting, creative direction (social media, digital marketing, and advertising) demand creation, website development, sales collateral and technical/training documentation, trade show and event planning, corporate communications, and public relations for the company. The Director will direct the promotional and brand activities of the company, as well as the departmental resources and staff assigned to this position. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership and development of the marketing department, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training and development of staff.  Includes establishment of KPI’s, measurement accountability, and constructive performance evaluations.
  • In collaboration with the CEO, develops departmental budget and oversees marketing objectives and strategies to increase brand awareness and demand creation
  • Develops and executes marketing policy (including brand use and compliance), programs and campaigns
  • Oversees and assigns daily workflow and quality output of the department, completion of projects within deadline and budget
  • Work cross-functionally in support of established company objectives
  • Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, measurement of guest experience and VOC.
  • Assists in conducting market research to understand and guidance for strategic decision making specific to industry trends, competition and pricing, and new products development opportunities.
  • Creation of relevant content (print and digital) supporting advertising, sales collateral material development, website and social media platforms based upon company growth objectives.
  • Trade show support including booth strategy, booth merchandising, event planning, marketing, and promotion as required. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field requirement.  Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience in a related field  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
