About Us: Norfolk Hardware & Home Center has been serving Boston and the surrounding communities since 1934. We are a leader in the market delivering high-quality building materials to a vast number of contractors and builders. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented ProSales Representative to join our team.


Responsibilities:

  • Sales: Manage and  grow sales of building materials, including paint,  to contractors and builders within our  retail store as well as develop new customers with outside sales activities. (60/40 split)
  • Business Development: Actively source new business opportunities by prospecting,  networking, and cold calling potential clients.
  • Customer  Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest building materials trends, products,  and industry developments.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and analyze customer sales performance and identify opportunities to increase market share.
Requirements

 To be qualified you will have:

  • A proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably in the building materials industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and strategies.
