Lancaster Farming, Inc. is looking for a Part Time Digital Marketing Intern to join our team! The Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for overseeing a plethora of tasks including enhancing SEO on evergreen editorial content, identifying and reporting seasonal agricultural trends on social media pages and groups, adding inbound links to reputable websites, and market report research. Collaborate with the digital team to develop a strategy to organically grow traffic to LancasterFarming.com, provide website updates, social media coordination and other tasks to promote the growth of our newspaper. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
This role requires a highly organized individual that is task driven to support the editorial and digital marketing team in improving website traffic to better grow advertising revenue on the website and its associated products.
The ideal candidate will be a current college student studying marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
Part Time Digital Marketing Intern Essential Job Functions (Full Description):
- Improve SEO on top evergreen articles by adding strong keywords, headers, and inbound/outbound links when necessary.
- Research what is currently trending online using SEO tools such as Google Trends, BuzzSumo, and Answer the Public.
- Implement related links from LancasterFarming.com to Wikipedia pages and other reputable websites.
- Create and format images for articles, social media and marketing resources.
- Assist the Editorial Team in tasks as needed.

What are we looking for?
- Currently or recently working on a college degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
- Experience with SEO and digital marketing.
- Proven writing/editing/proofreading skills.
- Experience with CMS a plus.
- Strong organizational and written communication skills.
- Graphic design skills are a plus in Canva, Photoshop or other design software.
