Job Summary
As an Account Manager at Exegy, you will manage a portfolio of 20-30 key client accounts in the EMEA/APAC region, including investment banks, hedge funds, and market makers across equities and derivatives. Your role will focus on nurturing and growing existing relationships, identifying new opportunities within client organizations, and driving account growth by promoting Exegy’s suite of products. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure client success and expand Exegy’s footprint within the capital markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and relationship aspects of a defined set of client accounts
- Leverage your industry expertise and network to enhance Exegy’s presence within these accounts
- Develop a deep understanding of how clients use Exegy technology, identifying additional opportunities for value
- Educate clients on the benefits of outsourcing and adopting Exegy solutions
- Create and maintain strategic account plans, documenting growth paths, client structures, and relationship details in the CRM
- Collaborate with Solutions and Customer Success Management (CSM) teams to service clients and grow Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
- Focus on expanding the use of Exegy’s products within client accounts, including cross-selling opportunities
- Serve as the internal point of reference for your accounts, providing insights into client needs and progress
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- 5+ years of sales experience within capital markets, preferably with market data vendors, EMS/OMS providers, exchanges, or similar companies
- Solid technical understanding, with background experience in product, operations, or support roles being beneficial
- Familiarity with market data and execution gateways in the capital markets ecosystem
- Strong network and previous experience selling to firms in the capital markets sector
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong track record of time management and CRM usage
- Client-facing experience with the ability to discuss technical solutions at a strategic level
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and articulate how they benefit clients in the wider financial ecosystem
