This role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the administration and installation of computer systems and servers to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT assets. This includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing applications, and Operating systems. This role is also responsible for telephone, data center configuration (physical, virtual and Cloud based), backups, servers and Microsoft AD.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with the system design team to implement short- and long-term strategic plans to meet the existing and future requirements of the business
- Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, and associated training plans for system resource administration and appropriate use
- Practice system asset management, including maintenance of systems component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation
- Monitor and ensure optimal operation of all virtual systems, hardware and equipment, including VM, Storage, Application, Physical Servers, etc

Required
- 3+ years’ experience as a System Administrator
- Experience administrating a phone system
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in configuring and administrating MS Windows Servers, Active Directory, Mail and SQL Servers
Preferred
- University degree in IT or a related field
- Experience in a process driven environment
- Experience with NetApp Storage system
- Experience with OPManager
- Basic ITIL or Agile certification a plus
- Basic experience with VMware technologies
- Experience Administrating Cisco phone system and related components like Contact Center, Voicemail (Unity), Call Manager
