Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow all Bender Inc. Safety Policies and Procedures and safety requirements of our customers.
- Vigorously identify, qualify, pursue, and close business opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Engage with various stakeholders in the Healthcare System Maintenance ecosystem.
- Utilize Salesforce and other SaaS tools for lead generation and customer interaction.
- Report weekly on sales activities, keeping the sales pipeline accurate and up to date.
- Ability to gain support from colleagues across teams to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Document activity in a timely and accurate manner in CRM.
Other Duties
- Attend company events related to sales and new business acquisition.
- Assist in the review and development of technical and marketing collateral.
- Travel to customer sites as needed.
- 3 years’ experience in a sales or business development role as an electrical manufacturer providing equipment into the healthcare (Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Center, etc.) or critical infrastructure segments.
- 4-year degree from accredited institution
- Powerful desire to develop new business
- Experience navigating a matrixed organization
- Effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
- Must be experienced with Microsoft Office tools and CRM tools
- Familiarity with the function and usage of basic low voltage electrical distribution equipment
- Experience working with and through a third-party representative network preferred
- Some knowledge of the electrical construction industry and electrical grounding principles preferred
