Data Analytics Lead
Description

The Pennon Organization is seeking a data analytics specialist to join our team as our new Data and Analytics Lead. This role requires the knowledge and experience to help lead multiple new projects for our organization as we continue our digital transformation for our news, education, and production divisions as well as philanthropy and sales teams. You will work alongside our leaders to assist with making data-driven decisions and foster a culture of learning while helping your new colleagues understand the importance of that data we use every day.  Essential job duties include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership while leading the design and execution of data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation.
  • Leverage data to inform audience segmentation, content optimization, advertising strategies, and educational outcomes.
  • Partner with product, marketing, editorial, and educational teams to optimize user experiences and engagement through data.
  • Establish and maintain data governance for quality and security while ensuring compliance with data privacy policies and regulations. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation in data analytics across the organization. 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and make recommendations for the continued development and use of data analytics tools. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s in data analytics, computer science or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role. Must also have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role. 


Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Microsoft Office knowledge and demonstrated success in managing data analytics tools such as Python, Tableau, or Power BI. Familiar with machine learning, big data technologies, and cloud platforms. 

Salary Description
$110,000 - 125,000/year
