JOB SUMMARY
As a Warranty Coordinator in the Flooring industry, your role is an integral part of the internal sales team working in partnership to resolve any customer issues and ensure the accuracy and timely processing of customer orders. This position processes a large volume of transactions and as such needs to be efficient, detail oriented, organized, and accurate. Proactive communications and follow-up are essential to the successful performance of this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- General clerical duties
- Process incoming warranty tickets in a timely manner
- Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
- Data entry for service orders and material listing sheets
- Input orders into RFMS computer system
- Process for ordering
- Input warranty repair on the service calendar if date provided by builder
- Call Homeowners to schedule a warranty appointment if a date is not provided by the builder
- Call Homeowners to verify appointment the day before appointment
- Store complete documents in appropriate locations
- Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors
- Analyze presented information to identify potential problems or discrepancies prior to entry
- Read and understand incoming POs and align POs to quotes and services completed
- Transmitting POs to vendors
- Attention to detail, establish priorities, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Patience and professional customer service is required
- A high degree of experience and comfort with computer software is mandatory
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- A solid understanding of flooring products, installation processes, and industry standards is preferred
- Proficiency in using computer software and other relevant tools for coordinating accounts is expected
- Must be able to work in a team environment
