Elevator Service Technician or Installation Mechanic Apprentice

Gulfside Elevator is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Elevator Service Technician or Installation Mechanic Apprentices. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the Elevator trade with great mentoring, training, and hands-on experience with installing and servicing home elevators.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the installation and maintenance of home elevators

- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot elevator malfunctions

- Work with a team to ensure timely completion of projects

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

- Must be able to travel occasionally

- Must not be afraid of heights and be comfortable working on ladders

- Must be capable of lifting 50lbs or more

- Must be experienced in proper use of hand tools

- Must have a valid driver's license

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Good communication skills

Successful Apprentices can be promoted within 12 - 18 months to a lead mechanic with a commensurate increase in responsibility and compensation during the program as well as after.
