IT Infrastructure Network Administrator
Description

  

As part of a global IT Team the IT Infrastructure Network Administrator plays a key role in the planning, and coordinating the administration, installation, and connectivity of network infrastructure to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT assets. This includes configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network hardware, software, and communication links. This role is also responsible for data center network (physical and Cloud based) and other electronic infrastructure.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Work with the engineering team to implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to meet the existing and future requirements of the business
  • With the support of the engineering team develop, implement, and maintain procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration and appropriate use
  • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory, life cycle management and related documentation
  • Monitor and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, ups, firewall, etc

      • Data Center Network
  • Second Level Support

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Adhere to company policies and protocols
  • After hours support and maintenance as necessary
  • Project support as necessary
Requirements

  

Required Qualifications 

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Network Administrator
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Firewall Management
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Wireless networking
  • Intermediate to senior knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in IT or a related field
  • Experience in a process driven environment
  • Experience with OPManager
  • Basic ITIL or Agile certification a plus
  • Experience Administrating a Cisco Wireless environment
  • Experience Administrating Checkpoint Firewalls

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions in this job grade, with the final offer depending on factors like experience, education, location, and other relevant considerations. Additionally, this role qualifies for extra benefits beyond the base pay range mentioned.
