Description

Duarte Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Learning Project Manager to act as the organizational hub for learning product development. This role is focused on proactively managing project timelines, resourcing content development, and identifying tradeoffs to ensure successful product delivery.  


You will own the Product Roadmap (inclusive of content and feature calendars), ensuring it’s scoped, resourced, and updated as necessary. You’ll implement Quality Assurance (QA) practices for content development and facilitate Subject Matter Expert (SME) brainstorms or development sprints to ensure consistency and adherence to Duarte’s standards in product execution. In addition, the Learning Project Manager will help craft Product Team routines, drive content management processes, and develop internal best practices to help the team manage various projects efficiently. 


The ideal candidate is a master of organization, collaboration, process improvement, and cross-functional communication. They will serve as a link between the Product Team and internal departments, coordinating efforts and ensuring that Product Team priorities are communicated and aligned. This role requires someone who thrives amidst ambiguity and excels at managing multiple moving parts with challenging deadlines. They must be comfortable speaking up when identifying risks and enjoy being creative in your proposed solutions.  


Essential Duties & Responsibilities 


Product Roadmap Creation & Management:

Craft and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals. Scope, resource, and prioritize tasks effectively, regularly communicating updates to stakeholders. 

Timeline Development & Scheduling:

Develop and track detailed project timelines, ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned on deadlines and key milestones. Proactively manage risks and adjust schedules to keep projects on track. 

Resource Management & Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams (Agency, Operations, Facilitation, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to allocate resources based on capacity and business needs. Balance competing priorities and keep cross-functional partners accountable, ensuring the effective use of resources and clear communication across departments.  

Tradeoff Identification & Risk Management:

Assess potential tradeoffs in scope, timelines, and resourcing. Propose solutions that optimize project outcomes while managing risks to ensure smooth execution. 

Content Management & Quality Assurance:

Oversee the creation and organization of Product Team documentation and learning content. Ensure content is up-to-date and accessible, while building processes that improve the team’s ability to work cross-functionally with other departments. Enforce Duarte standards in content development and maintenance. Provide feedback to SMEs when materials don’t meet quality standards.  

Product Team Routines & Organization:

Lead the organization of the Product Team’s routines, including regular meetings, check-ins, and status updates. Create and manage internal tools to track projects, deliverables, and team performance, improving visibility and coordination. 

Process Improvement & Standard Operating Procedures:

Continuously refine and optimize project management practices. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a learning or product development environment. 
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on timeline development, resource allocation, and tradeoff management. 
  • Experience with content and/or knowledge management practices and tools 
  • Experience leading Agile and Scrum methodologies in learning product development and QA practices 
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Monday.com) and collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, Mural)  

Preferred Skills

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, social learning, and learning technology solutions 
  • Familiarity with community management platforms and best practices 
  • Experience with AI-powered educational tools or platforms 
  • Project Management or Scrum Master certification 

Employees new to Duarte typically come in at the start of the pay range. Duarte focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that includes monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for employees) and may include profit-share bonus.

Base pay range (National Average) per year: $83,000 - $100,750.
